About Farleys Fitness

Hey, I'm Brent Farley.  A personal trainer, fitness coach, health coach and healthy lifestyle podcaster.  I have been involved in fitness as a coach or trainer for the past 15 years.  I have trained, motivated, and guided over 1000 clients with huge success.  

Now let me tell you a little about my story.  When I was younger physical activity came relatively easy to me.  In high school I played baseball, basketball, and football.  I received scholarship offers in football and baseball.  I ended up playing football at Vanderbilt University.  While I was there I trained under two of the best strength and conditioning coaches around.  After college I settled down and started the normal 9 to 5 routine.  I wasn't working out, running or anything.  Pretty much like everyone else, go to work, go home, and go to bed.  However I kept eating like I did in college but without the physical activity.  Of course I gained weight.  When I had to start buying bigger clothes because I could breath in mine anymore I knew I had to do something.  

I contacted my old strength and conditioning coaches and picked their brains about how to lose some weight and feel better.  I was reading anything I could get my hands on about nutrition and fitness.  I knew that I had to change how I eat and I had to start with some physical fitness again.  With months of experiments with foods and exercise I finally got it all right.  Literally within months of eating real foods and exercising I looked better that I had in years.  Everywhere I went people were asking me advice on how to eat and what to do.  I got certified in personal training and started helping people be more fit and healthy.  

Word got around really fast how I could help people be healthy and fit.  Most of the people who came to me for help had issues like:  weight gain, lack of energy, fatigue and just overall not feeling good and unhealthy.  Most all of these people had tried diets that are not substainable and just do not work.  Literally after a few weeks of practicing the plans that I designed for them people started loosing weight, they had more energy, and just plain felt better.
